"Medis 2011 - XV International Congress for Students and Young Doctors", which will take place in Timisoara during the period 19 to 22 May 2011,  has been a tradition for the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Victor Babes" - Timisoara till 1989, being resumed in 1997 by Timisoara Medical Students Society thus becoming known and appreciated both at national and at universities of neighbour countries.

 

Because of the success that it had among the students, we decided to enlarge the participation's sphere, therefore we also managed to expand the Congress on the postgraduate level, offering to the youth doctors the opportunity to take part at this scientific event.

 

This year is the moment to strengthen the links established in previous years with foreign participants by including them realized works in the presentation sessions, the official languages of the Congress being English.
